PM Modi Meets Hyundai Motor Group Chair, Welcomes Major Investment in Maharashtra

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair, Euisun Chung, to discuss Hyundai’s growing investments in India, particularly in Maharashtra. The Prime Minister highlighted the state’s importance as the country’s economic powerhouse, expressing optimism about the impact of Hyundai’s investment on the region’s growth.

Responding to Hyundai India’s post on X (formerly Twitter), Modi stated, “Happy to have met Euisun Chung a few days ago. India is indeed the ideal place to invest in. I am also glad to see Hyundai’s enthusiasm towards the plant in Pune. Maharashtra is India’s economic powerhouse, and big investments like this will greatly benefit the people of the state.”

Hyundai’s expanding presence in Maharashtra, particularly through its upcoming plant in Pune, underscores the company’s commitment to contributing to India’s automotive and economic growth. The investment is expected to boost employment and drive technological advancements in the region.
