PM Modi Inaugurates Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu in Navi Mumbai

Navi Mumbai: In a momentous occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu in Navi Mumbai today.

Costing over Rs 17,840 crores, the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) Atal Setu spans a length of 21.8 km, featuring a 6-lane bridge with 16.5 km over the sea and 5.5 km on land. This engineering marvel is expected to significantly contribute to the ‘Ease of Living’ for citizens, reducing travel time and enhancing connectivity.

Prime Minister Modi shared his excitement about the inauguration on his official X account:

“Delighted to inaugurate Atal Setu, a significant step forward in enhancing the ‘Ease of Living’ for our citizens. This bridge promises to reduce travel time and boost connectivity, making daily commutes smoother.”

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu is not only a symbol of advanced infrastructure but also a testament to the government’s commitment to improving the quality of life for citizens. The bridge is poised to play a crucial role in facilitating seamless daily commutes, ultimately contributing to the economic and social development of the region.
