
Bhubaneswar: Over 2.64 lakh teenagers in the age group of 15-18 in Odisha have been administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines since January 3.
Informing about the drive, Dr Bijay Panigrahi, director, Family Welfare said the Odisha government has been carrying out vaccination in 1,125 vaccination centres across the state. Over 80,000 children were vaccinated on Wednesday.
Speaking about booster doses for health workers and senior citizens, he said that they are working on it.
The registration for the teenagers in the age of 15-18 years started from January 1. They can register on the CoWin app through their Aadhaar Card and school ID.
