Bhubaneswar:  To enhance healthcare accessibility and facilitate smoother movement within the expansive Capital Hospital campus, the Odisha State Warehousing Corporation (OSWC) handed over a 10-seater electric vehicle to the Capital Hospital today. The e-vehicle, valued at Rs.11.90 lakh, was generously provided by the OSWC from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund.

The ceremonial handover took place in the hospital premises and saw the presence of Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Minister of Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, Cooperation, and Higher Education. Nayak presented the key of the electric vehicle to the Director of Capital Hospital during the event.

The corporation focuses on scientifically storing food grains for distribution under the Public Distribution System (PDS) and other government welfare schemes. As a profit-making Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Cooperation Department, the OSWC allocates a portion of its net profit towards meaningful CSR initiatives.
