Odisha Matriculation Results Announced, Girls Outshine Boys

Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has declared the results of the Matriculation or the Annual High School Certificate examination today. The announcement was made by Board President Srikanta Tarai at the BSE Office in Cuttack. This year, an impressive 96.07 percent of students passed the examination.

Girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 96.73 percent compared to 95.39 percent for boys. Over 541,000 students appeared for the exams held from February 20 to March 4. Khordha district recorded the highest pass percentage in the state at 97.89 percent. Other notable district pass percentages include Cuttack at 97.58 percent, Dhenkanal at 95.12 percent, Balasore at 96.10 percent, Jagatsinghpur at 97.60 percent, and Puri at 96.76 percent.

Significantly, no schools reported a zero percent result, while 2,644 schools achieved a 100 percent pass rate.

Students can check and download their marks from the official BSE Odisha websites, bseodisha.ac.in and orissaresults.nic.in. The board will also release digital certificates on the official website and via WhatsApp from 4 PM today. For results via SMS, students should text OR10 followed by their roll number to 5676750. To obtain the digital certificate through WhatsApp, students can send a message with “BSE” to 7710058192 and follow the instructions provided.

Additionally, students can request a re-evaluation of their answer papers from May 29 to June 12.
