Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the state’s new Online Incentive Management System and standardized District Websites. Developed by the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), these initiatives aim to streamline administrative processes and enhance citizen engagement through innovative e-Governance solutions.
The Online Incentive Management System introduced by the state government revolutionizes the process for entrepreneurs to apply for incentives under various policies, including IT, Electronics, Data Centre, BPO, Semiconductor Manufacturing, and Fabless Policies. This user-friendly portal enables seamless application submission, document uploads, error-checking mechanisms, and real-time tracking of application status. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik lauded this initiative, highlighting its role in making governance more accessible, transparent, and efficient.
In addition to the Online Incentive Management System, Odisha unveiled new District Websites developed under the robust ‘Standardized Website Framework’ (SWF), aligning with the Chief Minister’s transformative 5T initiative. These websites, designed to offer a unified experience, serve as a digital gateway for citizens to access essential government services and information. Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik emphasized that these websites are user-friendly and embody the state’s commitment to transparency and efficiency in governance.
Speaking on the occasion, 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian commended the impact of the 5T initiative, citing successful projects across various sectors. He emphasized the role of technology and teamwork in driving fast-paced development in the state.
Echoing similar sentiments, Minister of Electronics and IT, Tusharkanti Behera, underscored the government’s focus on citizen-centric governance through e-Governance initiatives. He noted that the new district websites and the Online Incentive Management System exemplify Odisha’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and attracting investment.
Principal Secretary of the Electronics and IT Department, Manoj Kumar Mishra, highlighted the standardized practices and accessibility features embedded in the new district websites. He emphasized the SWF’s secure and scalable platform, designed to adhere to national and state IT guidelines while enhancing administrative efficiency.
The launch event, attended by senior officials from the Electronics & IT Department and OCAC, signifies Odisha’s unwavering commitment to leveraging technology for inclusive development. With the introduction of these pioneering initiatives, the state embarks on a new era of e-Governance, promising greater transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in public service delivery.
