Odisha Launches e-Pavilion to Take MSMEs to Global Markets

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has launched a dedicated digital storefront for its micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on MSME Global Mart, seeking to expand their visibility and connect them with buyers in domestic and international markets.

Chief Secretary Anu Garg launched the Odisha State e-Pavilion on Thursday in the presence of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Chairman and Managing Director Subhransu Sekhar Acharya.

The platform will showcase a diverse range of Odisha-based enterprises and products, including One District One Product (ODOP) items, GI-tagged products, cluster-based offerings and artisan enterprises.

The initiative is expected to provide MSMEs with a structured digital channel to showcase their products beyond the state and access wider markets, thereby strengthening their competitiveness and business opportunities.

Before the launch, Acharya met Garg and discussed measures to further strengthen Odisha’s MSME ecosystem. He highlighted several NSIC initiatives, including the National SC-ST Hub Scheme, TEAM initiative and SRI Fund, along with the recently launched MSME Global Mart 2.0.

The meeting also explored ways to connect Odisha’s MSMEs with broader markets through digital platforms and improve coordination between NSIC and the State Government.

Garg emphasised the need for a “Government as a Whole” approach to strengthen digital enablement, inclusive procurement and market access for MSMEs across Odisha.

The e-Pavilion is also aligned with the broader objectives of Digital India, Make in India and Vocal for Local, the statement said.
