Bhubaneswar: Odisha has inaugurated its first-ever dinosaur-themed park, ‘Dinosaurs Alive,’ at the Regional Science Centre (RSC), also known as the Science Park in Bhubaneswar. The park, spread across 2.5 acres, brings a unique and engaging experience with life-sized dinosaur models, dynamic light shows, motion-sensor effects, and immersive graphics.
The park is designed to transport visitors to the Mesozoic era, with realistic dinosaur models and advanced animatronics creating an exciting, prehistoric world. The jungle-themed layout enhances the experience, allowing visitors to walk among the massive creatures in a visually stunning, educational environment.
Science and Technology Minister Krushna Chandra Patra, who inaugurated the park, expressed that this initiative was an important step towards making science education more interactive and engaging. “By combining technology with creative design, ‘Dinosaurs Alive’ makes learning about natural history both entertaining and educational,” he said.
