Odisha Govt to Begin Postgraduate Admission Process for 2025-26 Academic Session

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is set to kick off the postgraduate (PG) admission process for the 2025-26 academic year, with the Common Application Form (CAF) submission starting on March 10, 2025.

In an official press release, the Higher Education Department confirmed that students wishing to pursue PG programs must appear for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET), which will determine their eligibility based on merit. The CPET is scheduled to take place in the first week of May 2025.

To ensure a streamlined academic year, the department has aimed for PG courses to begin in universities and colleges by July 10, 2025. This will allow for a timely academic calendar, enabling exams and results to be completed on schedule, thereby benefiting students throughout Odisha.
