Odisha Govt Increases Junior Teacher (Schematics) Salary to ₹16,000

Bhubaneswar: In a major relief for primary and upper primary school teachers, the Odisha government has announced a hike in the monthly remuneration of Junior Teacher (Schematics) engaged under the Samagra Shiksha scheme. The salary has been increased from ₹11,100 to ₹16,000, effective from Thursday.

The state government issued a notification on Wednesday stating that the revised pay structure will take effect immediately from the date of issuance of the resolution. The notification, issued by the order of the Governor, will also be published in an extraordinary issue of the Odisha Gazette.
