Bhubaneswar: Mohan Charan Majhi-led BJP government in Odisha has approved a new uniform colour code for all government buildings across the state. The decision follows a recent change in the uniform design for Class IX and X students in government and government-aided schools. “I am directed to communicate the approval of the Government to adopt a uniform colour code henceforth for all new Government buildings, as well as existing Government buildings at the time of periodical repair/renovation work,” stated the letter, issued by the Engineer-in-Chief-cum-Special Secretary, Works Department.
According to the approved colour code, the exterior walls of the buildings will feature an Orange shade with the RGB mix (254, 190, 152), while the borders will be painted in a Red shade with the RGB mix (177, 85, 79).
