Odisha CM Lays Foundation for NMIMS in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Unveiling a new chapter in Odisha’s educational journey, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik ceremoniously laid the foundation for the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies at Infovalley Bhubaneswar today. Championed by the Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal Trust, this esteemed institute, situated across 40 acres of state-provided land, is poised to reserve 30 percent of its seats for deserving Odisha students based on merit.

Addressing the gathering, Patnaik highlighted the remarkable socio-economic progress achieved by Odisha in recent times, propelling it to become one of the fastest-growing economies in the country. He emphasized that this burgeoning economic status has transformed the state into a magnet for talent, attracting individuals not only from India but globally.

He attributed this remarkable economic growth to the nation’s youthful demographic dividend, emphasizing the pivotal role of the youth in driving progress.

Continuing his discourse on the strength of the youth, Patnaik hailed them as the nation’s assets and the beacon of hope for the future, asserting that India’s youth are now considered the global economic torchbearers. He cited the impressive number of global CEOs and management visionaries emerging from India as evidence of the youth’s pivotal role on the world stage.
