Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has introduced several new initiatives in the Annual Budget 2025-26, focusing on infrastructure, social welfare, digital transformation, and economic development. - Shree Jagannath Darshan Yojana: Rs. 30 crore allocated to enhance pilgrimage facilities.
- Subhadra Surakhya Yojana: Rs. 153 crore for women’s safety and empowerment.
- Bakul Bana Unnayana: Rs. 50 crore to promote cultural heritage.
- Cold Storage Policy: Rs. 60 crore to improve agricultural storage infrastructure.
- Model Mandi: Rs. 50 crore for modernizing agricultural markets.
- Antyodaya Gruha Yojana: Rs. 2,603 crore for affordable housing, including interest subvention.
- Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana: Rs. 12 crore for financial assistance in girls’ marriages.
- AI-driven Predictive Policing & Crime Mapping: Rs. 10 crore to modernize law enforcement.
- Maritime Skill Development: Rs. 20 crore to boost employment in maritime sectors.
- Samrudha Sahar: Rs. 408 crore for urban infrastructure development.
- Mahanadi & Budhabalanga Waterfront Development: Rs. 150 crore for riverfront beautification.
- Odia Diaspora Initiative: Rs. 10 crore to engage Odia communities abroad.
- Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM): Rs. 100 crore for digital healthcare access.
- Mukhyamantri Sahari Vikas Yojana: Rs. 1,100 crore for urban transformation.
