
Bhubaneswar:In a major milestone for Odisha’s IT sector, four leading companies—Chubb Business Services, Integreon Managed Solutions, Bourntec Solutions, and Secuodsoft Technologies—inaugurated their new operations centres in Bhubaneswar today. This move further cements the state’s reputation as a rising hub for IT, professional services, and innovation.
The virtual inauguration ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Minister for Electronics & IT Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Minister for Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education Sampad Chandra Swain, and other top officials, including Development Commissioner Anu Garg and Principal Secretary, Electronics and IT Department Vishal Dev. Senior executives from the four companies also joined the event.
The establishment of these centres highlights the growing confidence in Odisha’s business environment, robust infrastructure, and skilled workforce. These new facilities are expected to create more than 2,000 jobs in the next three years, contributing to the state’s economic growth and employment landscape.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi emphasized Odisha’s strategic vision for the future: “The presence of these companies reflects our state’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment. We have set ambitious targets to transform Odisha into a USD 500 billion economy by 2036 and a USD 1.5 trillion economy by 2047, and the IT and services sector will play a critical role in achieving these milestones.”
Minister for Electronics & IT Dr. Mukesh Mahaling added, “Bhubaneswar is emerging as a preferred destination for top IT and professional services companies. Our vision for Odisha in 2036 and 2047 is to be a key hub for emerging technologies and innovation.”
Principal Secretary Vishal Dev highlighted Bhubaneswar’s growing stature as a leading IT/ITeS center, noting that software exports from the state have reached 1 billion USD, and that this figure is expected to grow exponentially with further investments from industry leaders.
