Odisha announces ex-gratia for Bahanaga train accident victims

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced ex-gratia for the victims of the Bahanaga train tragedy.

The next of kin of the deceased will get assistance of Rs 5 lakh and those who sustained serious injuries will get Rs 1 lakh as assistance.

The assistance will be given from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

This ex-gratia assistance is applicable to the victims of Odisha only.

In the triple train accident happened at Bahanaga Railway station on Friday evening killed 288 passengers and injured over 1000.
