Odisha Agriculture Department Launches Monthly Recognition Program for its employees

Bhubaneswar: The Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment has taken a proactive step to acknowledge and reward exceptional performance among its employees. The department aims to foster a culture of excellence by felicitating outstanding individuals on a monthly basis and promoting their achievements on social media platforms.

Principal Secretary Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee highlighted that the performance evaluation will not solely be based on meeting expenditure targets but will also consider the significant contributions of employees to the quality execution of various plans and projects implemented by the department.

To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, directors of all directorates and managing directors of government enterprises under the department have been instructed to submit lists of outstanding employees by the 10th of each month. This approach enables prompt identification of deserving individuals, ensuring timely acknowledgment of their valuable contributions.

This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to nurturing talent and cultivating a positive work environment. By recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment aims to uplift morale, enhance productivity, and contribute to the overall growth and development of the agricultural sector.
