
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs) have recorded an impressive performance in the CBSE Class X Board Examination 2026, achieving a pass percentage of 94.25 per cent and reflecting a notable improvement over the previous year.
Out of a total of 16,966 students who appeared for the examination in the 2025–26 academic session, 15,990 students cleared the exam successfully. The results underline the consistent academic standards maintained across OAV institutions.
The performance was further highlighted by exceptional individual achievements, with eight students scoring above 99 per cent. A total of 1,598 students secured more than 90 per cent marks, indicating strong overall academic outcomes.
Shreyansh Nanda of OAV Patharchepa in Balangir and Ashirbad Mishra of OAV Satyabadi emerged as state toppers, each scoring an outstanding 99.6 per cent.
Among other top performers, Sonakshee Padhi of OAV Patharchepa secured 99.4 per cent, while Prayag Nayak from the same school and Anshuman Panda of OAV Sorada scored 99.2 per cent each.
Officials attributed the success to the dedication and hard work of students, along with the continuous efforts of teachers and support from parents. The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan congratulated all successful candidates and expressed confidence that they will continue to excel in their future academic pursuits.
