New Delhi: Odisha is among four states to achieve 100 percent service delivery through unified service delivery portal, informed the NeSDA Way Forward report. In a significant development, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Assam, and Odisha have achieved a noteworthy milestone by achieving 100% service delivery through their respective unified service portals. The accomplishment was highlighted in the NeSDA Way Forward Report for November 2023, released by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
The NeSDA – Way Forward dashboard has been designed by DARPG to monitor the implementation of recommendations outlined in the NeSDA 2021, aligning with the focus areas of e-governance. The NeSDA framework encompasses Government-to-Citizen (G2C) and Government-to-Business (G2B) services across seven sectors, including Finance, Labour & Employment, Education, Local Governance & Utility Services, Social Welfare (encompassing Health, Agriculture & Home Security), Environment (including Fire), and Tourism.
The November Monthly Report for States/Union Territories (UTs) provides a sector-wise analysis of the e-services approach, offering deeper insights into the Local Governance & Utility Services sector. The report highlights key themes within the sector and the number of e-services provided by each State/UT under each theme.
The analysis identifies common citizen-centric themes of e-services in the Local Governance & Utility Services sector across all States/UTs. These themes cover a wide range of e-services, contributing to a seamless transition from offline to online services.
The objectives of the sector-wise analysis include identifying major themes/categories of e-services, setting benchmarks for the number of e-services that can be provided in a State/UT, and facilitating an increase in the number of e-services through information dissemination.
The NeSDA Way Forward Monthly Report for States/UTs, November 2023, is based on inputs provided by States/UTs on the NeSDA – Way Forward dashboard as of December 5, 2023. The report reflects the commitment of states to enhancing service delivery through efficient and unified online platforms.
