
Bhubaneswar: The makers of the Odia film ‘Manaska’ are all set for the theatrical release of the movie in Odisha on March 10.
Directed by Manas Sahoo, the film is produced by Bhabani Prasad Majhi. While the story is written by Lingaraj Nath.
Shot exquisitely in nearby areas of Bhabanipatana, the film Manaska is about the journey of a cab driver named Taanish.
Excited about the release, Manas Said, “After a long wait we are finally set for its release. The movie is a genuine effort of like-minded people to bring out an Odia movie with good content for our audience . We are hopeful that people would visit theatres and watch it.”
Sharing about the movie, Manas said, “The movie is a story of each human being. The story of the movie revolves around Taanish, who is haunted by the events of his past and its moment of life. He is a cab driver by profession. However, because of his conflicting nature, he losses his family, friends, job, and fortune.”
The trailer of the movie was released in December last year and has garnered appreciation from movie buffs across the state.
