OAV Students Shine in CBSE Class X & XII Exams 2025, Register Remarkable Improvement

Bhubaneswar: Students of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs) have delivered an exceptional performance in the CBSE Class X and XII Annual Examinations 2025, registering a significant leap in pass percentages and academic excellence across streams.

In Class X, the overall pass percentage soared to an impressive 91.8%, a sharp rise from 82.26% recorded in 2024. A total of 1,062 students secured more than 90% marks, highlighting the growing academic strength of the OAV system. Kabya Ranjan Majhi from OAV Pallasgadia, Bonth emerged as the top scorer in Class X with an outstanding 99.4%, setting a new benchmark for excellence.

The upward trend continued in the Class XII Science stream, where the pass percentage rose to 72.05%, up from 63.19% last year. Om Prasad Sahoo from OAV Khaprakhol, Bolangir led the Science stream with a stellar 97.4%, topping all OAV students in the category.

In the Commerce stream, OAV students achieved one of the most remarkable improvements. The pass percentage reached 77.60% in 2025—almost doubling from 44.24% in 2024. Madhusmita Behera from OAV Rengali, Sambalpur topped the Commerce stream with an impressive 94.6% marks.

The outstanding results reflect the growing impact of OAVs in providing quality education to students across rural and semi-urban areas of Odisha. The consistent efforts of teachers, school management, and students, along with academic support from the state government, have contributed to this stellar achievement.
