New Delhi: In the midst of several controversies surrounding the National Testing Agency (NTA), the agency has announced the postponement of the Joint CSIR UGC-NET Examination June 2024. The decision, attributed to “unavoidable circumstances and logistical issues,” was communicated through an official notification issued on June 21.

The notification posted on the official website of NTA stated, “The candidates are hereby informed that the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June-2024 which was scheduled to be held between 25.06.2024 to 27.06.2024 is being postponed due to unavoidable circumstances as well as logistic issues. The revised schedule for the conduct of this examination will be announced later through the official website.” Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the official website for updates regarding the revised schedule.

The Joint CSIR UGC-NET examination is pivotal for Indian nationals aspiring for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and admission to PhD programs in various universities and institutions across the country.
