
New Delhi: Nitin Gadkari today officially took charge as the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, marking the beginning of his tenure in Modi 3.0. Alongside him, Ajay Tamta and Harsh Malhotra assumed their roles as Ministers of State. The ceremony took place at Transport Bhawan in New Delhi.
Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reassigning him this critical role, Gadkari highlighted the government’s commitment to enhancing India’s infrastructure. “Under Modi Ji’s visionary leadership, we will equip India with world-class, modern infrastructure at an accelerated pace,” Gadkari remarked.
The Minister was warmly welcomed by MoRTH Secretary Anurag Jain and other senior officials. The officials extended their support to Gadkari and the Ministers of State, emphasizing their collective commitment to advancing the nation’s road transport and highway projects.
Gadkari’s reappointment signals a continued focus on infrastructure development, a sector in which he has previously made significant strides. His leadership is expected to further propel the construction of highways, expressways, and other critical infrastructure projects across the country, ensuring seamless connectivity and boosting economic growth.
