Odisha CM-Designate Mohan Majhi Meets Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: In a gesture of courtesy and goodwill, Odisha Chief Minister-designate Mohan Charan Majhi visited BJD President Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday, just hours before the swearing-in ceremony of the new government.

Majhi met with the BJD supremo at Naveen Niwas and extended a personal invitation to the former Chief Minister to attend the ceremony, which is scheduled to take place at 5 PM today.

Following his meeting with Naveen Patnaik, Majhi expressed his gratitude, stating, “I have received the blessings of Naveen Patnaik.” This visit marks a significant moment of respect and continuity in Odisha’s political landscape.

Earlier in the day, a delegation from the Odisha BJP, led by State President Manmohan Samal, also visited Naveen Patnaik to formally invite him to the swearing-in ceremony of the new BJP government.

The swearing in ceremony of the new Chief Minister and his council of ministers will be held in a grand ceremony at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar. The event is expected to be attended by several dignitaries and marks the beginning of a new chapter in Odisha’s governance under the leadership of Mohan Charan Majhi.
