The key accused, identified as Lalngaihawma, was apprehended in Aizwal, Mizoram, marking a crucial development in curbing illicit activities in the region.

The NIA disclosed that Lalngaihawma, in collaboration with other individuals, was actively participating in the trafficking of arms, ammunition, and explosive materials. The NIA is expected to conduct a thorough investigation into the network’s activities, unraveling the intricacies of the smuggling operations and identifying all individuals involved. This strategic move aligns with the government’s unwavering dedication to curbing illicit activities that pose a threat to national security.

As the case unfolds, further updates and information regarding the arrested individuals, network operations, and the overall impact on regional security are anticipated.
