In the first innings, India, led by Musheer’s outstanding 131 and Adarsh Singh’s 52, posted a formidable total of 295 for 8 in 50 overs. New Zealand struggled in their response as Raj Limbani and Saumy Pandey wreaked havoc, bundling them out for 81, making it New Zealand’s third-lowest score in U-19 World Cup history.
Musheer Khan, in scintillating form, contributed significantly to India’s dominance. He immediately got into action, starting with a ramp shot and a cover drive, setting the tone for a rapid innings.
