Mobile Hospitals set up deployed in Ayodhya for Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

Ayodhya: In preparation for the upcoming ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya, two Arogya Maitri Disaster Management Cube-BHISHM, revolutionary mobile hospitals equipped with cutting-edge technology, have been deployed to enhance medical readiness and response capabilities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ayodhya for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22, 2024, and the event is expected to host around 8,000 guests.

These cubes are integral to the broader initiative named “Project BHISHM” – Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog, Hita, and Maitri. Tailored to treat up to 200 casualties, the Aid Cube emphasizes rapid response and comprehensive care. It is equipped with innovative tools, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics, to facilitate effective coordination, real-time monitoring, and efficient management of medical services in the field.

The entire unit consists of 72 easily transportable components, offering unmatched flexibility as they can be carried by hand, cycle, or even drone. The Aid Cube’s standout feature is its capability to be deployed within a remarkable 12 minutes, crucial for bridging the time gap from primary care to definitive care during mass casualty incidents (MCIs), potentially saving lives in the golden hour of emergencies.

Designed to be robust, waterproof, and lightweight, the cubes are adaptable for various emergency scenarios, from airdrops to ground transportation. This ensures rapid deployment anywhere, providing an immediate response capability.

One key feature of the Cube is its advanced medical equipment, RFID-tagged for efficient repacking and redeployment. The state-of-the-art BHISHM software system, integrated into a provided tablet, allows operators to locate items quickly, monitor their usage and expiry, ensuring readiness for subsequent deployments. These revolutionary mobile hospitals showcase India’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology for swift and effective disaster response.
