Mission Shakti’s Strategic Partnership with DAFE & IRRI Unveiled at Krushi Odisha 2024

Bhubaneswar: In a groundbreaking move, the Mission Shakti department has joined forces with DAFE & IRRI, focusing on rice-based native varieties renowned for their aromatic essence. This strategic collaboration aims to produce nutritionally enriched rice-based and mixed-value food products, including cookies, snacks, muesli, pasta, and noodles.

Additionally, a mini millet factory will be established to bolster the capacity-building of SHGs in food processing and entrepreneurship. The MoU marks a significant step towards enhancing opportunities for women-led ventures in the rice-based food industry, fostering economic growth and entrepreneurship.

The second day of Krushi Odisha 2024 witnessed a pivotal session on SHG-led Entrepreneurship through agri-enterprises at Janta Maidan, Bhubaneswar.
