Bhubaneswar: In a groundbreaking move, the Mission Shakti department has joined forces with DAFE & IRRI, focusing on rice-based native varieties renowned for their aromatic essence. This strategic collaboration aims to produce nutritionally enriched rice-based and mixed-value food products, including cookies, snacks, muesli, pasta, and noodles.

Additionally, a mini millet factory will be established to bolster the capacity-building of SHGs in food processing and entrepreneurship.
