
Mayurbhanj: In a significant step towards enhancing digital connectivity, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & IT, Government of India, laid the foundation stone for the installation of a 4G Mobile Tower at Manatapal Village in Mayurbhanj district. The initiative is part of the 4G Saturation Project utilizing indigenous 4G technology stack under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
This project includes the installation of approximately 94 mobile towers across Mayurbhanj district, providing a substantial boost to digital connectivity in the region. The move is expected to open up new opportunities, such as improved employment prospects, access to online services, and the digital inclusion and empowerment of the local population.
In a notable gesture, Ashwini Vaishnaw visited Manatapal village, a remotely located area, marking the first-ever visit by a minister to the village. The local residents expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for this initiative.
Furthermore, Minister Vaishnaw announced the introduction of new towers for Patisari Village and Kanhupura Village under the Badasahi Block, further expanding the reach of digital connectivity in the region.
