IPL 15 sets the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest Jersey
Ahmedabad: The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League has registered in the Guinness Book of World Records after displaying a giant jersey during the closing ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
The organizers unveiled the world’s largest cricket jersey to mark 15 years of the world’s richest and most popular T20 league. The jersey was measured 66 x 42 meters and held the symbols of all the 10 teams that participated in IPL 2022.
Rishi Nath, the representative of Guinness World Records, presented the certificate to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, secretary Jay Shah, and IPL Governing Council chairman Brijesh Patel.
Later, the IPL took to Twitter and shared a video of the jersey launch at the world’s largest cricket stadium.
