Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) Launches ‘Pahal’ – its Vigilance Department’s House Journal

New Delhi: The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), a government enterprise under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, took a significant step towards transparency and accountability by unveiling ‘Pahal,’ the insightful house journal of its Vigilance Department. The ceremony, held at IREDA’s registered office in New Delhi on January 25, 2024, saw the participation of Chairman & Managing Director of IREDA, Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Kumar Sahani, and other senior officials.

Shri Pradip Kumar Das, while unveiling ‘Pahal,’ expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting its potential impact on fostering awareness and accountability. He particularly emphasized the importance of encouraging active participation from employees and their children in the Vigilance Journal, envisioning a more profound impact on Renewable Energy Development.

“We believe that encouraging active participation from our employees and their children in the Vigilance Journal will not only enhance awareness but also create a more profound impact on Renewable Energy Development,” Shri Das remarked.

The launch of ‘Pahal’ reflects IREDA’s commitment to promoting renewable energy initiatives and creating a culture of transparency within the organization. The journal is expected to serve as a platform for insightful articles, contributions, and awareness-building activities related to renewable energy.
