Indian Panorama Unveils Selection for 55th International Film Festival of India

New Delhi: The Indian Panorama, a flagship segment of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), has announced its selection of 25 Feature Films and 20 Non-Feature Films for the 55th edition of the festival. This year’s showcase will highlight a diverse array of contemporary Indian cinema, with the selected films representing a broad spectrum from 384 contemporary feature films and 262 non-feature films.

The Jury has chosen “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar”, directed by Randeep Hooda, as the opening film for the Feature Films category. This selection marks a significant entry into the historical narrative of Indian cinema, celebrating the life and contributions of the freedom fighter.

For the Non-Feature Films category, “Ghar Jaisa Kuch”, directed by Harsh Sangani, has been selected as the opening film. This film reflects the innovative spirit of filmmakers who document and explore contemporary Indian values through various storytelling forms.

The Feature Film Jury, led by renowned director, actor, and screenwriter Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, consists of twelve esteemed members from the film industry. The jury includes:
