India-England ODI Match Scheduled at Barabati Stadium on February 9

Bhubaneswar: The iconic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack is set to host the highly anticipated One Day International (ODI) cricket match between India and England on February 9, 2025. Preparations for the grand event are in full swing following a high-level meeting chaired by Odisha Sports Minister  Surjya Banshi Suraj at the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) conference hall.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including representatives from the Cuttack district administration, police, and OCA, to ensure seamless execution of the event. Special measures are being planned to provide a world-class experience for players, spectators, and fans.

Online ticket sales will commence on February 2, with 4,000 tickets available for purchase. Offline ticket sales are scheduled for February 5 and 6 at six designated counters in Cuttack. Ticket prices start at ₹700, making the event accessible to a wide audience.

To enhance the match-day experience, fan parks and LED screens will be set up outside the stadium and at various locations in Cuttack, enabling a larger audience to enjoy the game.

Special attention will be given to the safety and security of players, spectators, and stakeholders. An integrated control room will monitor the event to ensure smooth management.

This year, a dedicated “Legendary Box” seating area has been arranged for distinguished guests and achievers from various fields, adding a touch of exclusivity to the event.

Addressing the media, Sports Minister Surjya Banshi Suraj emphasized the significance of the match. “The India-England ODI at Barabati Stadium is a major event for cricket enthusiasts.
