Bloemfontein: In a thrilling encounter at the U19 World Cup 2024, India showcased its batting prowess, setting an imposing target of 302 runs against Ireland at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein. The Indian innings witnessed a mix of early setbacks and resilient partnerships, culminating in a formidable total.

Opener Adarsh Singh’s early departure and Arshin Kulkarni’s struggle for boundaries set India back with just 80 runs for two wickets in the 20th over. However, Musheer Khan and skipper Uday Saharan orchestrated a remarkable recovery, forging a century stand for the third wicket. While Captain Saharan departed after a commendable 75, Musheer Khan, the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan, continued his powerful innings, reaching a well-deserved century.
