Gram Vikas Wins CASCA’25 Award for Leadership in Community Engagement for Sustainability

New Delhi: Gram Vikas, a trailblazing organization committed to empowering rural communities and fostering sustainable development, has been awarded the prestigious CASCA’25 Award for Leadership in Community Engagement for Sustainability. The recognition was conferred at the recently held Climate Action & Sustainability Conference & Awards (CASCA’25) in New Delhi.

For over four decades, Gram Vikas has championed the cause of “Village Development,” working extensively across Odisha and neighboring states. Through strong collaborations with government bodies, private sector partners, and academic institutions, the organization has pioneered initiatives that blend inclusive growth with the preservation of rural biodiversity. The CASCA’25 Award honors Gram Vikas’ unwavering commitment to enabling communities to shape their own sustainable futures.

The Climate Action & Sustainability Conference & Awards (CASCA’25), organized by YBRANT and supported by the M3M Foundation and NTPC Limited, convened national and international thought leaders to spotlight urgent climate themes. Key discussions at the conference focused on regenerative agriculture, circular economy, ESG frameworks, electrification, biodiversity conservation, renewable energy, and climate finance, underlining India’s growing leadership in global climate action.

Gram Vikas’ accolade underscores the transformative potential of community-led development models in building a sustainable, inclusive future, offering a powerful blueprint for rural resilience and ecological stewardship.
