General Body Meeting of Shriram Vihar Resident Plot Owner’s Welfare Society Held

Bhubaneswar: Third general body meeting of Shriram Vihar Resident Plot Owner’s Welfare Society Srinivaspur, Bhubaneswar, was held on January 25 at Visvesvaraya Bhawan, Odisha Engineer’s Service Association, Bhoi Nagar, Bhubaneswar.

The meeting was presided over by its president Bikash Chandra Mohanta. General Secretary Raghunath Swain read out the annual report of the previous year and Vice- President-cum-treasurer Anukampa Sahoo read out the details of the annual income expenditure.

Vice-presidents Ashok Kumar Mishra and Prafulla Kumar Behera spoke in the meeting, while Subrat Satpathy proposed the vote of thanks.

Out of a total of 200 members in the association, the meeting was attended by more than 100 people from the state and outside Odisha.

The main topic of discussion in the meeting was to take steps for the construction of a concrete approach road from Chotaraipur mouza to Srinivaspur under the Panchayati Raj Department to Rural Development Department.

At the same time, it has been decided to hold a joint discussion with all the builders who have sold the land, with special attention to ensure that all the buyers can be assigned their own residence. All the members present in the meeting were requested to pay special attention to construction of their own boundary wall so that all the members could determine their respective places.

Apart from this, it was also discussed in detail to take steps to identify land for the construction of an approach road to the individual plots and to connect the area with gas pipeline and electricity.

It was decided to take steps to solve various kinds of problems of all other people in the coming days and to take necessary steps for the economic growth of the union/society in the upcoming days.

As the association was formed with meticulous efforts by Sri Bikash Chandra Mohanta President of Shriram Vihar Resident Plot Owner’s Welfare Society, Srinivaspur, Bhubaneswar, by uniting hundreds of landowner members who were scattered by continuing his efforts. All the members present expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Sri Bikash Chandra Mohanta.
