
New Delhi: Gajendra Singh Shekhawat took charge as the Union Minister of Culture today, marking a significant milestone in the government’s commitment to preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural heritage.
Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for entrusting him with this crucial portfolio, Shekhawat emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the vibrance of Bharateeyata both within the country and on the global stage.
In his address to the media, Shekhawat underscored the government’s efforts to transition from India to Bharat, shedding colonial legacies and reinstating the nation’s glorious cultural heritage under the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi.
