England Advances to EURO 2024 Quarterfinals with Dramatic Win Over Slovakia

England: England secured their place in the EURO 2024 quarterfinals with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Slovakia in extra time on Sunday at Arena Auf Schalke.

Slovakia initially took the lead in the 25th minute with a close-range finish by Ivan Schranz, assisted by David Strelec. However, England equalized dramatically in stoppage time with a spectacular bicycle kick from Jude Bellingham.

With the match tied 1-1 at the end of regular time, it proceeded to extra time. Just a minute into extra time, Harry Kane scored a decisive header, giving England the lead and ultimately the win.

England will face Switzerland in the quarterfinals on July 6, continuing their quest for the championship.
