Ekamra Utsav: Anuradha Paudwal and Suresh Wadkar Enchant Audiences at ‘Sangitara Murchana’

Bhubaneswar: The enchanting strains of music reverberated through the air on the second day of the Ekamra Utsav music program, ‘Sangitara Murchana,’ hosted by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA). The evening unfolded in a symphony of mesmerizing melodies, featuring the soul-stirring performances of two musical maestros, Anuradha Paudwal and Suresh Wadkar, leaving the audience captivated.

Kicking off the evening with devotional hymns dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Anuradha Paudwal’s mellifluous voice created an ethereal atmosphere. Her renditions of timeless Odia classics like “Kalia Mo Dehe Bolide” and “Keri Keri Suna Duba” transported the audience to a realm of musical bliss. Transitioning seamlessly, she continued to serenade the listeners with melodious Odia tunes, including “Asiba Bara Tora, Hoiba Bahaghara” and “Ae Phul Kaha Thare.”

The magic continued as Suresh Wadkar took the stage, weaving his musical charm with Odia melodies. His heartfelt renditions of songs like “Rupsi Priysi” and “Sarigala Michhi Michika Bahaghar” resonated deeply with the audience, evoking nostalgia and emotion. Each note of classics such as “Shrabani Tama Bahagharku mate dakiba” and “Alo Mor Kandhei” carried the essence of Odia culture and tradition.

The second evening of ‘Sangitara Murchana’ unfolded as a celebration of the timeless allure of music, weaving together the rich fabric of Odia heritage and tradition. The performances by Anuradha Paudwal and Suresh Wadkar left an indelible mark on all those who experienced the magical journey of musical bliss.
