Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Remanded to Judicial Custody Till April 15 in Liquor Policy Case

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been remanded to judicial custody until April 15 in connection with the ongoing liquor policy case. The decision came after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) requested 15 days of judicial custody for Kejriwal, citing his alleged non-cooperation during the investigation.

ASG SV Raju, representing the ED, stated that Kejriwal’s conduct during the probe has been non-cooperative, with the Chief Minister providing evasive replies to the agency’s inquiries. Raju further expressed the possibility of the ED requiring additional custody in the future to further investigate the matter.

This development follows the extension of Kejriwal’s ED remand until April 1 by the Rouse Avenue court on March 28. The court directed that Kejriwal be produced again by 11:30 am on April 1 for further proceedings in the case.
