Sanapadar: Fulfilling the long-standing demand of the residents of Sanapadar, a Passenger Halt (PH) is set to become a reality, after the recent visit of the Minister of Railways, Communications, and Electronics & Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw.
During his visit to Daspalla in the first week of January 2024, Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw interacted with the people of Sanapadar, along with local public representatives. The unanimous demand from the community was the establishment of a Passenger Halt at Sanapadar, strategically positioned between Begunia and Rajsunakhala Stations on the ongoing Khurda Road-Balangir Rail Line.
Responding promptly to the community’s needs, Minister Vaishnaw assured the residents and directed the railway authorities to initiate the construction work within 20 days.
The construction work for the Sanapadar Passenger Halt is scheduled to commence tomorrow. The initiation of work on the Sanapadar Passenger Halt is anticipated to yield substantial benefits for the residents of the region.
