CM Naveen Patnaik Approves Opening of Fire Station at AIIMS Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday has approved the proposal to open a fire service center on the premises of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar.

A station officer along with 10 fire personnel will be appointed at the station. The state government has already created ten new posts for this purpose.

The Chief Minister said that the station will strengthen the fire safety of the institute.

SCB medical college Cuttack, MKCG medical college Berhampur and VIMSAR Burla have one fire service center.

At present, there are currently 338 fire service centers across the state providing emergency services.
