
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik officially inaugurated the new campus of IMS and SUM Hospital located at Phulanakhara, positioned strategically on NH-16 between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The Chief Minister expressed optimism about the facility’s significant contribution to fulfilling healthcare needs in the twin cities and the entire state.
The newly inaugurated hospital, starting with approximately 750 beds, aims to gradually increase its capacity to 3,000 beds within the next two years. It boasts cutting-edge technology and diverse departments, including advanced cancer care. The onco care facilities will encompass radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic equipment.
The hospital’s strategic location in Phulanakhara ensures convenient accessibility for patients from various locations. All-encompassing departments, ranging from General Medicine to Pediatric Oncology, will be available at the Phulanakhara campus of IMS and SUM Hospital.
Eminent healthcare experts, trained both overseas and in renowned medical institutions in India, known for providing high-quality specialist and super-specialty medical care at affordable costs, will extend their services to the new hospital.
