BJD Launches Innovative Social Media Campaign, invite for swearing-in ceremony

Bhubaneswar: In a unique turn of events, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has initiated an inventive election campaign on social media following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remark regarding the future of the Naveen Patnaik-led government in Odisha.

The regional party has unveiled a digital invitation inviting individuals to witness the swearing-in ceremony of BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik as the Chief Minister on June 9. This move comes in response to PM Modi’s assertion that the tenure of the Naveen Patnaik government will conclude on June 4, with a BJP government set to assume office in Odisha on June 10.

The viral invitation letter, shared across various social media platforms, serves as a rebuttal to the BJP’s claims, reaffirming the BJD’s confidence in securing a sixth term for Naveen Patnaik as Chief Minister of Odisha. BJD national spokesperson and MP Sasmit Patra prominently posted the invitation on his social media handle, countering the BJP’s assertions with the announcement of the upcoming swearing-in ceremony.

Patra’s post elucidates the details of the event, confirming that the oath-taking ceremony will take place at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar on June 9, commencing at 11:30 am.
