Bhubaneswar Development Authority Breaks Ground for “SHRAMIKA PRATIKHYA KENDRA” in Kalpana
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority took a significant step towards enhancing workers’ welfare with the foundation stone laying ceremony for the “SHRAMIKA PRATIKHYA KENDRA” at Kalpana on January 20, 2024. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Sj. Ashok Chandra Panda, Hon’ble Minister for Science & Technology, Public Enterprises, and Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department. Smt. Sreemayee Sweta Snigdha Mishra, Chairperson of the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Board, also joined the event to mark this momentous occasion.
The ceremony witnessed the participation of notable dignitaries, including Sri Rajesh Kumar Agarwala, Deputy Secretary of the Labour & ESI Department, Sri Balwant Singh, IAS, Managing Director of Odisha Mining Corporation, and Sri Prasanta Kumara Baliarsingh, Additional Labour Commissioner, Odisha.
The “SHRAMIKA PRATIKHYA KENDRA” aims to provide a dedicated space for the welfare and empowerment of laborers and construction workers. The initiative aligns with the broader mission of ensuring the well-being and social security of individuals contributing to the development and growth of the region.
