
Kendrapara: In view of the mating and nesting season of saltwater crocodiles, the Bhitarkanika National Park will remain closed from May 1 to July 31.
During this period restrictions would be imposed at Bhitarkanika, Dangamala and Ragadapati forest blocks and no tourists would be allowed to enter the park.
Locals have also been prohibited from entering the area for the collection of honey and wood.
