After Omicron and Delmicron, New Threat Emerges in the Form of ‘Flurona’

Admits the surge in Omicron and Delmicron cases across the globe, a new challenge has emerged in the form of Flurona. Israel reported the first case of Flurona, a rare double infection of Influenza and Covid. 

According to the reports, a pregnant lady who delivered a baby was found affected with flurona virus. She was unvaccinated and her tests detected both influenza and Covid. Though she has mild symptoms, she is being monitored and is likely to be discharged soon.

Doctors said that is has same symptoms and is a viral infection. It also cause difficulty breathing and attack the upper respiratory tract. If untreated, it may prove fatal and life threatening.
