
Bhubaneswar: The Omicron cases marked 1500 in India on Sunday. While Maharashtra has the highest Omicron count with 460 cases, Delhi has 351 cases.
Similarly, Odisha recorded 23 new Omicron cases taking the tally to 37 in the state.
While 11 people are returnees from Finland, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Syria, 10 are local cases, and remaining two are contacts of Finland returnees.
Director of State Health Services, Bijay Kumar Mohapatra informed that out of 23 infected 19 are male and four female.
All the infected have mild symptoms and are in stable condition.
