Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met with the members of the Puri Chhattisa Niyog at the State Guest House today to discuss and ensure a peaceful and orderly completion of the upcoming Rath Yatra.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of conducting all rituals in a disciplined manner. This year, devotees will witness three significant rituals of the Holy festival, and Majhi urged the Chhattisa Niyog members to facilitate these in a seamless manner.
Expressing his hopes for a smooth Rath Yatra, the Chief Minister said, “With the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath and the cooperation of all, I am confident that this year’s Rath Yatra will be completed smoothly.”
The Chhattisa Niyog members expressed their gratitude for the government’s positive approach towards the servitors and assured their full cooperation. They were particularly pleased with the announcement of a Rs 500 crore corpus fund for the temple, thanking the Chief Minister for this significant support.
