Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended his congratulations to the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) following the triumphant flight-test of the Indigenous Technology Cruise Missile (ITCM), a significant milestone in India’s defence capabilities.
The successful flight-test of the Indigenous Technology Cruise Missile (ITCM) took place at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, located off the coast of Odisha. Powered by an indigenous propulsion system, the long-range subsonic cruise missile underwent rigorous testing, showcasing its prowess and reliability.

The test flight of the Indigenous Technology Cruise Missile (ITCM) witnessed flawless performance from all subsystems, meeting the expectations set forth by the DRDO. The missile’s trajectory and capabilities were meticulously monitored throughout the test, with a comprehensive array of Range Sensors including Radar, Electro Optical Tracking System (EOTS), and Telemetry deployed by ITR at strategic locations along the flight path.
