New Delhi:  The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is set to host its 9th National Conference on Economics of Competition Law tomorrow in New Delhi. This annual event, initiated in 2016, serves as a platform for scholars, practitioners, academicians, and experts to delve into critical aspects of competition law economics.

This year’s highlight is the plenary session focusing on “Artificial Intelligence: Challenges And Opportunities.” Moderated by Dr. Arghya Sengupta, Founder and Research Director of the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, the session aims to explore the multifaceted impact of artificial intelligence on competition and its regulatory landscape.

Technical Sessions Chaired by Renowned Experts

The two technical sessions of the conference will be chaired by distinguished individuals in the field. Dr. Rajat Kathuria, Professor and Dean at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Shiv Nadar University, and Dr. Rohit Prasad, Professor of Economic and Public Policy at the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, will lead these sessions.
